cob contact

When will sororities start contacting pnms for cob? I emailed a few in August, and they said they'd contact me but I've only heard from one. Should I try to contact them again? Or wait till semester starts? Thanks!

I would go ahead and wait until the semester starts to contact them. My house changes board members every spring, and most of the other houses do as well - meaning there's new recruitment chairs who might not know about you.

ADPi isn't COB-ing I don't think!! Not because they are against it, I just don't think they are!! Could be wrong though

The two houses most definitely not COBing are adpi and chio. Currently they have the highest numbers on campus so they will not be participating in continuous open bidding this spring.

Are you sure they won't be? Last year they swore up and down on this website that they weren't COBing and then my roommate got in.

I'm an ADPi and we are COBing but you have to know somebody and we are taking so few girls that if your name hasn't already been brought up, you pretty much have no shot.

I have friends in ADPi and contacted the VP of recruitment in ADPi but was told you guys wouldn't be COB-ing. Did I do something wrong?

Just means they're COBing quietly and only going off a list of recommended girls. A lot of recruitment chairs will tell girls "we aren't currently COBing but I will let you know if anything opens" ... as theyre cobing.
