why are we so lame?

To take a break from people getting their panties in a bunch over tiers, I would like to focus on more relevant thinks within our greek community.. aka parties and frats. So this leads to pose the question: why is Mizzou so lame?
Majority of our parties lately have been lame hallway parties (some frats ONLY have these kinds of parties aka beta) with the OCCASIONAL basement rager. Rarely do we have fun themed parties that people actually dress up for and when we do they are hardly up to par with other schools (ole miss, indiana??) and not to mention the fact that for some reason which is BEYOND ME we don't participate in an iconic college tradition: the darty.
My question is basically: why??? Why can't our frats actually throw decent ragers and darties that are up to par with other schools? No wonder we never make any "party schools" rankings.. like has anyone SEEN ole miss' woodstock? or Illinois unoffiical?
it's beyond annoying. DU and KA throw great parties but I just don't get how Sig Chi and Beta can be considered top tier frats when they don't go hard at all

I think some of it has to do with Mizzou's frats only letting in guys from their frat, which makes the girl/guy ratio WAY off. Personally, I don't like frats (I'm a girl) for partying purposes because it's annoying when there is 150 girls and 20 guys at a party. Alot of schools aren't like that (see U of I).
Also, the Como cops and the University police/officials are cracking down on partying unfortunately. They really need to realize that underage drinking is a part of college and not the end of the world and let us have some fun.

I don't think we'll ever see Frats let other guys into their parties here at Mizzou. They are too hard headed to let in outside competition for the attention of the girls at their parties. Also, until other houses are willing to risk failing audits or other sanctions, I think DU, KA, and occasionally houses like Farmhouse or Pi Kapp will be the only chapters on campus with huge and fun parties.

We really need to start doing pairs like other schools. Other schools pair sometimes on random nights of the weekend. That way, you actually get to know guys in the house because you have to stay paired with them all night (till midnight). There would still be open parties on most nights of the week for geeds and for not-so-good sororities, but a pair once in a while would be SO much more fun. Like at other schools you pair for tailgate pregames, so before the tailgate you go to a frat to pregame with JUST your sorority. Ya the pairings would be unfair bc the good houses will be with the good houses but thats just how it should be. Mizzou blooows.
