Fraternity Rush

I'll be going through rush as an in-coming freshman this year. I already have definitely eliminated some houses as I absolutely will not consider a fraternity that doesn't have/own it's own house. I will not change my mind about that. But I'd like to hear opinions about which 5 fraternities would be the best to focus on. Let me know, please - and thanks!

My little brother is going through fraternity rush, too, and has some thinking similar to yours but hasn't completely ruled-out a frat or two that doesn't own their own house. He has asked my opinion about houses I think he should really focus on, and I have recommended: (no particular order) DU, Beta, Fiji, Sigma Nu, Phi Delt. Phi Psi and Pike could possibly be considered as well.

I don't think there are 5 houses worth considering. Maybe 3 at most.

I told my brother to focus first on DU, Beta, Fiji and then Phi Psi & Phi Delt.
