Probably most the bottom tier houses: sigma, zeta, sk, phi mu (they cob every year and you don't have to know anyone to get invited to a social)
And then a few random others that will do it "secretly" in which you will have to know girls in the house to get in.

Sigma Kappa probably will but they didn't publicly COB last year, you had to know somebody. It'll be the same this year. Sigma will because they were under quota, not sure if you have to know somebody or not. Zeta will because they lose girls every year after recruitment and Phi Mu will but I think they'll be pickier this time because they got a very good PC in the Fall.

I heard ADPi is because they lost a lot of girls during pledgeship but my friend, who is an ADPi, was drunk when she let that slip, so it might not even be true, she might've just been drunk. Good to keep in mind though.

Lots of awesome houses will be COBing! Adpi, APhi, DG, KD, Gphi, AXO, Phi Mu, Sigma, Sigma Kappa and Zeta and potentially others!! COBing isn't a bad thing, if a chapter looses a lot of seniors in the winter, they have spots and a quota to fill! Some houses only take 5-10 girls and are super secretive about it, but that doesn't matter. Greek love for all <3

More houses COB than you would think! Last year the majority of houses did COB, even if they only accepted a handful of girls. It's really helpful to know girls in the houses you're interested in, but if you don't know any girls you can always email the Recruitment Chair from the houses that have publicly announced they're COBing to ask for more information. Every house does it a little differently, so I can't really give you any general information aside from the fact that there will be socials for you to meet the girls and see if it's a good fit from both sides! Kappa may be COBing. Their alums are absolutely insistent that they keep their numbers up and the $$$$ rolling in. Even though there is a stigma for top houses to COB, some do.

I heard ADPi lost a few girls in pledgeship like most houses do and they want to try and replace them with some of the PNMs that didn't get bids but were still quality girls. My house is doing the same thing and we don't usually COB but a lot of the girls we liked didn't get bids and we want to try and snag them because we have room in our house total to add a few girls. I don't think COBing this is is as big a deal because only 1 in 3 PNM's got a bid and a lot of really wonderful girls slipped through the cracks. My house isn't publicly COBing but we have a list of girls we're contacting because we want them.

im sensing a little bit of a stigma about COBing from a few of these posters. COBing is seriously not at all a bad thing. Girls just want to raise their numbers. doesnt have to mean anyone has dropped. it means a chapter simply wants more sisters. and most houses still wont just take anyone, they still want their type of girl. there are certain houses that do frown upon COBing (Kappa, Pi Phi, Chi O), but that doesnt make it a bad thing because they dont usually do it. Delta has COB'ed in recent years and they are a fantastic house with good retention. They still maintain high standards when they COB.

If we are suddenly allowed to COB I clearly do not know about it and you're right my chapter is doing an excellent job of keeping that a secret...
