crazy houses - pnm's you've been warned!

i think i have a different idea of beauty because i dont think delta is that pretty... at least no prettier than any other house,

Don't take any of these posts seriously. They're made by people who are insecure about their own houses, so they feel the need to tear other houses down. Unfortunately, as the song goes, "high school never ends." At least not for these girls. Go into recruitment with an open mind and let the houses make their own impressions. That is all.

It doesn't matter what you say about Delta as long as the girls going through rush are impressed. And they are. Each and every year. Which is why Delta gets some of the best girls, has strong pledge classes, develops a great sisterhood and leaves almost every other house in the dust. There is a reason why their return rates (and retention) rates are off the charts.

I went Kappa even though Pi Phi was my first choice but Delta was the one house that kept showing up on my schedule every single day. I didn't hate Delta or anything I just didn't feel like I fit in there but for some reason I kept getting asked back.

I once knew a girl who preffed alpha phi then theta then tri delt and ended up a tri delt. Really just goes to show you that not everyone loves you guys and people with substance are actually quite annoyed with you. You just think they love you because you get decent return rates possibly because girls are being cut by other houses so they're forced to go back. So in reality, who actually knows how selective you are. Who knows how selective anyone is for that matter.

Girls in my Pi Chi group loved Delta on the first round of cuts but when it started getting harder and harder to cut houses they kept getting asked back to Delta instead of their favorites. One girl on philanthropy day was in tears in line and our Pi Chi had to pull her from the line to make sure she was okay because she was sick of having to pretend to like Delta.

When I rushed I didn't even remember going to Delta the first day because I had Pi Phi and Chi-O before and after Delta, they got lost in the mix. On sisterhood day I asked my girl what her favorite thing about being greek was and she told me it was partying and then told me a story about how her little was puking in the bushes during syllabus week the year before and how funny it was. So impossibly tacky, I bottom three ranked them that day but STILL had them in my top three on pref day. I didn't rank them and got my second choice house so it all worked out.
