not to sure about either of those suggestions.. I feel like gphi would have a spot in upper mid before aphi. And i think tridelt is top, bottom of the top, but still top.

Your rank isn't the slightest bit correct. Theta isn't top. They don't have the well rounded characteristics the other top houses do. I would put adpi top before theta if I had to choose. Tri delta is top tier too. KD might be mid tier if they rushed cuter girls. They haven't had decent grades or involvement this year either. Overall just not a strong year for them. Zeta could be mid tier in a few years if they can retain members and stay involved. 1 year placing in homecoming isn't enough to bump a tier.

i would basically agree, only i'd put sk over zeta...

While I agree that SK has dome very well for their first as an active chapter I don't quite think they're lower mid yet. Personally the SK's I've met are nicer than the Zetas I've met and as a house I like them more, however they haven't been around long enough to make that jump yet. In another year? Maybe. Within five? Absolutely. SK has been a very successful addition to the Greek System but I think it's too soon for that sort of jump quite yet. I do think SK is above Sigma though for sure.

Something that has always bothered me about Beta is that the only reason they're a so-called "top tier" frat (even though I've never really heard of frats being ranked in tiers) is because they have a huge house and rich guys. I've been to their parties and the guys just aren't that interesting. Maybe I was just talking to the wrong guys, I don't know. Plus, they don't even participate in Hoco. I just feel like they're kind of stuck up and not very social compared to other houses (especially compared to other top/upper mid tier houses)

def agreed. the guys are cool and their house is REALLY nice but they don't use their sick house to throw any actual good parties. They have lame hallway parties once in a blue moon but thats it.

Can we PLEASE just get delta out of top tier discussion now? I find nothing stand out about this house at all. Not even looks. I have seen the same number of pretty girls in here as I have in chi o, pi phi and kappa. Unless I'm just blind, there is nothing spectacular about them that the other top houses don't have. To be top, you must excel in most/all areas. Not just one.

Delta is not top any more. At least alpha phi is more involved! I don't think either are top by at least alpha phi is trying. Theta is top just because they excel in everything including great retention. They are not as social but still very popular during rush and get the girls they want. Kappa and ChiO are top because they are involved, yes they have some awkward girls but so does every other house.
Top: ChiO, Kappa, Theta and PiPhi
Upper Mid: Delta, ADPi, Alpha Phi, GPhi
Lower Mid: AXO, DG, KD, Zeta
Bottom: phi mu, Tri sig, sigma

The OP had the list right. Theta isn't top, maybe like 3 or 4 years ago. KD and Zeta are bottom houses too. Zeta more so than KD, KD is just having a rough year so I would still consider them mid. But zeta is for sure bottom tier.

KD has had a rough couple years, not just this one, and yes, they are def bottom. Zeta has had a few strong years and IMO closer to mid. SK has done decently, but they appear to have lost some of their good members (most likely due to this site, which is dumb). Sigma had their rough year last year, but in reality they had a good year the year before last and another good one so far this year - dark horse in the running maybe. Alpha Chi has finally solidified themselves as mid. Good for them. And Phi Mu has remained consistent in the bottom - nice and likeable.

As far as top goes, it is simple.
Tri Delta - they will always be top. Sorry jealous girls who were cut. Yes they are known as the beautiful house, but they also pull strong grades, and the frats love them. They have great nationals and an overall strong rep.
Chi O - Always on top
Pi Phi - Always on top
KKG, ADPi, and Theta - hmmmmmm - I would put them all in the same tier (under DDD, ChiO, and Pi Phi) - they are too similar to put one in the top and the other two in the middle.
Aphi GPhi and DG - are also similar - pretty girls, DG has better grades, APhi is more likeable, and GPhi is fun and gorge!
AXO - they've slipped in with better recruitments but one or two bad ones and more no-shows in greek comps, they could be back down.

Alright delta I've had enough of your sh.it on here trying to convince us you're top. I know you lost soo many girls to kappa, chi o and pi phi. I've talked to them, head who they ranked. Nobody is jealous you seriously have to get that out of your heads. It's obvious a delta wrote this post. GET OVER IT YOURE NOT THAT BEAUTIFUL. I mean seriously you are not much prettier than anyone else. Get off your high horse. You aren't that hot. And you aren't top. You've fallen just like theta fell off. It can happen, don't act like "delta will always be top." Other houses pull grades and pretty girls too AND they're involved and liked by frats. So go home delta. Nobody is buying your we are top story anymore

and just like "SOOO" many girls picked pi phi, kappa, and chi o - my roommate cried herself to sleep when tridelt dropped her and she was forced to go chi o instead. IT GOES BOTH WAYS. Get the dumb stick out of your ass because tridelts are not only pretty but wait - SHOCKER, smart too. It is not their fault that they know how to recruit girls that have social skills and you do not. If delta was just about looks, they would be another gphi and dg but NEWSFLASH that's what sets them apart.

I've met socially awkward girls in delta too... And I've met some really fun girls that are easy to talk to in chi o, theta and kappa. So what're you guys gettin at here delta? That everyone is under you because you think you're pretty and social? Ok ya and so is a phi and gphi but they aren't top. And again, you also have some weird girls living under your roof too. Grow up you brats. Get out of high school. Welcome to college where no one cares about your catty superficiality and small mindedness

kappa, theta and adpi have almost nothing in common? Theta and adpi are way smarter than kappa and kappa recruits just prettier girls thats all. the only thing they really have in common is involvement.

If we're looking at the top houses we really should be looking at the top-rushed houses
chi o, kappa, pi phi, delta, and even adpi consistently have excellent return rates during rush because they are viewed as the best houses and hardest to get into
followed by theta and gphi
then aphi, dg, axo
and finally zeta, kd, sk, sigma

Many houses tend to compete for the same girls. This past year, according to pref lists, a majority of girls fell into the following categories:
DDD vs GPhi vs PiPhi vs DG - depending on what they were looking for they pref'd accordingly - and yes, DG still fell here, but was pref'd behind the other 3.
KKG vs ChiO vs Theta vs ADPi - Lots of girls had 3 of these 4 - but there was never a clear #1 pref. These 4 have definite similar taste in members.
Aphi vs AChiO vs Sigma vs Zeta - Again I know some will think Aphi competed higher - or Sigma lower, they didn't, but then Aphi probably got the best of this group.
KD vs Phi Mu vs SK - Many girls came into drop when they had these 3 houses left. Others stuck it out and pref'd. But ask around lots of women had these 3 or 2 of these 3 to choose from. So yes, they were fighting over the same women as well. Phi Mu won.

Pi phi shouldn't be associated with the ditzy, boy crazy category. I think they belong with the second category. They have so much more substance than those other houses. They want good grades and a good head on your shoulders. Not just some pretty bi.tch only joining a sorority for boys, parties and to post slu.tty pictures throwing it up on Instagram. Pi phi expects girls to have a lot more than superficiality. Tired of being categorized with delta and g phi, and especially DG. No way
