Messaging girls in my PC?
by: Friends?So I’m a bit introverted, but I am so very excited to be in my sorority and a goal of mine coming to college was to be more social and open to making friends. I’ve mainly just been seeing my bid day buddy and her roommates. Is it weird to instagram DM some girls to ask if they wanna hangout?? I need a girl gang lol

Not at all! - although you should be safe about hanging out. Do you have a pledge class group me? When I was freshman I remember people just asking the whole group if anyone wants to hang out/go hiking/go get dinner/whatever and I said yes to a lot of those! I’ve remained friends with all of those people too.
Since people should have stayed in Columbia this weekend, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to ask in your group me if anyone wants to pick up some food to-go (shakespeares?) and have a picnic in peace park or the quad!

Hey girl! Follow up. We do have a pledge class groupme. It’s just a force of habit for me to mute groups when I’m added, but I took your advice and actually utilized a the group and met 3 super nice and chill girls this weekend and we absolutely hit it off. We went to this restaurant called Shiloh downtown and sat on the patio (they served us alcohol without carding us?! wow). We started a group iMessage between the four of us. We got food at the dining halls this morning. I luckily have a room in the Rise so I invited them over to eat these edibles my older brother got me and watch Love Island lol. Hoping we continue to hang out and become close!! I think I want these girls to be my core group but I’m going to open myself up to meeting more girls too, because why not? Amazing advice!!
