What do you think of....
by: Need Your ViewThere are some houses we hear TOO MUCH about: GPhi, APhi, TriDelt, XO, PiPhi, Theta, ADPi. Some because they are troubled, others because they are outstanding. And I don't want to rag on some of the lower tier houses because they are doing the best they can. But what about these middle-of-the-road houses you don't hear much about? Can someone tell us what these houses are known for? AXO, Kappa, KD, Zeta, DG.

axo is known for being a little more edgy and fun, they are pretty too
kd is known for having a great sisterhood and being involved and fun
kappa is known for being fun but also do well in things a little bit unclassy
zeta has a pretty house and some nice girls not the best sisterhood though
dg- has a brand new house but it can be quite expensive all the dgs I know are super nice and fun
you should see for yourself though during recruitment :) good luck

I think you can tell a lot about a sorority by how active they are on this site. Kappa, APhi and others are on here all the time tying to prove something. But most quality houses are never on this site: Theta, PiPhi, XO, ADPi, AXO, KD. I doubt they even care that this site exists.

In my opinion, KD’s are known for being friendly, welcoming girls with a great sisterhood. They may not be a lot of girl's first choice or even on their radar, but a lot of girls will be content with KD. I have heard from many different members that AXO and Zeta can be cliquey. But, overall, they are solid mid-tier houses that girls enjoy being in if they make friends. DG has a beautiful physical house, and I’ve met girls with many mixed opinions on the sisterhood. Some love it, some hate it. If you don’t want to be in a sorority that’s competitive/a lot of pressure throughout the year, this would probably be a good house for you. Kappa definitely has lost their sense of identity as a chapter. They seem impressed with their past accomplishments enough to not continue improving. They recruit a somewhat random assortment of girls (not always a bad thing; diversity rocks!) However, to me, it seems they just don’t know what there looking for. Bottom line, these are all decent houses, not the most competitive or selective, but still houses girls can enjoy being apart of!
