I'm not being rude
by: SeriouslyI am sincerely asking. How can a campus with a sorority system that is so outstanding have a fraternity system that sux so bad? Why aren't there the same standards for both? The list of fraternities that no longer exist here is appalling.

Sororities on this campus attract really outstanding girls. If you doubt me, just look at overall GPA. About half the fraternities on campus have a GPA that's below the all-men's average at Mizzou. But only TriSig, Alpha Phi and Gamma Phi fall below Mizzou's all-women GPA. Plus I really feel the frat guys on this campus wear their white privilege on their sleeves and don't believe the rules apply to them. Imagine how surprised they are that they get kicked off campus when they break those rules.

You should probably do research before listing who is below average both sorority and fraternity wise. You’ve got it all wrong and Greek life is above non Greek life in grades! Can’t go wrong.

At least with people I know, there are a lot of sorority girls who wouldn’t join a fraternity if they were guys. Different intentions and different experiences. The fraternity culture of hazing and alcoholism just doesn’t attract the same people. I think sororities attract a wider variety of people and fraternities are often stuck in rigid more traditional ideas of what guys they want. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is true for all colleges.

I absolutely agree. It's also the same reason many sorority women won't date frat guys.
