can someone who is in a sorority tell me if rec letters give you any sort of advantage in rush. do they really help you out that much or is it just something that looks good?

Get recs. They really help, at least in the good houses. They are the best way to let a chapter know more about you than the basics.

When there’s a thousand+ girls, anything that makes you stand out or look good is plus.

With recruitment being so different this year, I think that anything that gives you an edge is important. Revs do that. Get them.

It's not too late to get recs, but you should hurry. Ask any and all of your parents' friends who were in sororities to fill out a rec for you. They can get the forms through their national office. And it's fine to have more than one per sorority.
