Who said theta wasn't top tier? Oh yeah!!

Why did you post this, now all the annoying girls who live on this site will come on here bashing theta/axo. Because we all know if you say something good about a house you MUST be a member of that house trying to talk her sorority up.

Congrats to all candidates!! There are a LOT more Greeks this year! (The way it should be!) and wow, theta with 3 candidates! Quite the accomplishment! You too axo!! PHA love!

Hey ladies, hate to break it to you but this is a fact. Theta and AXO had more royalty candidates than anybody else. That is a black and white FACT. And it sounds like some real jealousy is seeping in here. No, I'm not a Theta or an AXO, I'm a GPhi but I seriously cannot believe the amount of unnecessary slander that goes on here.

Who had the most homecoming royalty last year? Anybody? Anybody? No? That's because whoever had the most last year wasn't a habitual self-ranker. I think that was "Miss chronic AXO basher's" point. (But, sweetie, they only have 600 ranks. IDK what you were seeing.)

Seriously now, "Homecoming Royalty"? What are we, still in High School? lol this is lame.

This is lame? No, actually, this is what Greek life is about. Now if it's lame to you, I can't imagine why you decided to pledge. Or perhaps you didn't pledge because no one wanted you, which I certainly can understand. But if you think the Greek system shouldn't be about Homecoming and Greek Week and grades and leadership, well, you're just wrong. That's what separates us from the rest of the Mizzou student body and that's what makes Greek life more fun, memorable and rewarding.

To me royalty isn't what's important about homecoming, it's about what Greek Town does for homecoming, and how we really put this school on the map. You might not remember who made Homecoming court, but if you watch ESPN Game Day a few years ago and heard all the comments about Greek Town and how Mizzou does Homecoming right, you would have been proud to be Greek. It's no surprise the number of people going thru rush really spiked the next year.

The point is homecoming wouldn't even exist without Greeks. We put on house decs, supply a ton of floats for the parade, decorate the district, etc for the community enjoyment. In recent years, Greeks haven't gotten in top royalty at all. This is a huge ordeal considering we are the backbone of homecoming. It's about time the majority of our candidates are Greeks, no matter what house they're from. A Greek should win and everyone should support each other to make that happen, not year each other down bc you don't like blah blah blah house bc they use too much glitter or have a lot of ranks.
