im actually a baby zta right now, and it was without a doubt my first choice during rush. i literally loved this house, and had no idea about any of the bad reps it has. the other day i stumbled upon this site and read the stuff, and honestly im shocked about the zta hate.
now i want nothing to do with zta and im honestly embarassed that i repped it so hard before. greek rank changed my entire perception of my sorority, and im trying to keep the girls in my pledge class from seeing it cause i know theyll feel the same way i do
right now i just want to drop cause i literally had no idea it was bottom tier and so hated

That's good. Because it's important as a college student to ALWAYS let other people do your thinking for you and to NEVER have an original thought or opinion. Heaven forbid you should learn to trust your own instincts and become the best individual you can be. I know I always let anonymous blowhards influence me so that I can follow the pack instead of become my own person.

Zeta has been on this campus for more than 40 years. It has a rich history here and has a strong alumni network. When it comes to ranking houses, some are at the top and some are at the bottom (though I would argue Zeta is more mid-tier)-- but they are all worthwhile and all continue the strong Greek heritage at Mizzou. Lots of sororities have come and gone at Mizzou, but Zeta endures because it is a good house with something special to offer. Wear your letters with pride and pat yourself on the back for susviving rush, pledging a house and surrounding yourself with sisters who very well might become your best friends for life.

To set it all straight. Zeta lost 10 new members last year all due to financial issues and some transferring to other schools. Where Zeta loses its members lies in the junior class every year. The juniors all have rent bills from living in their own apartments along with increased difficulty in majors that equate to half of that pledge class dropping. They do not want to pay for zeta anymore and have already met their lifelong friends. Therefore, their nationals forces them to COB to fill the gap. I had to drop zeta due to financial issues but it was still the best decision of my life. Also, these sisterhood rumors are all completely and utterly false. It baffles me that people would even talk about a sisterhood that they aren't in. How can you even compare one to another if you haven't experienced multiple sisterhoods? Anyways, I am not even going to try to convince y'all that zeta's sisterhood is just fine because no one is going to care. People will still make up random things and still continue to type horrible lies. I just wanted to set some facts straight because when zeta is brought up, that is all anyone ever has to say.

Very bad. They are typically bottom three in grades, terrible retention rate (lose a lot of their pledges in the first semester), and not very involved (although once in a blue moon they pull off a decent placement).
That being said, they are getting better. They stepped up their grades last semester so it's a good start. We will see if they can hold on to their girls this semester and keep their grades up. They're kinda in that weird limbo phase bw bottom and mid tier. Better than bottom tier but not good enough to hang out with the mid houses.
