friends dropped, so what to do??
by: WowSo I had two besties in my pledge class who were my go to for just about everything related to our sorority besides my big and family and they both kind of blindsided me and dropped after finals. To each their own, I can’t be mad if it wasn’t for them... but I feel lost because I don’t wanna drop and now I feel like I have no group when they’ve kind of have been established and everyone will be picking roommates for the house next semester so i’m nervous. Any tips on finding a new group in my sorority? Making friends isn’t easy for me because I get nervous and everyone being new in the fall really helped in that aspect because we were all in that same boat and super open.

It's time to look forward, not back. Sorority life isn't for everyone, but if you are committed you can find good friends in your pledge class. Take an interest in other people's lives, ask questions, make plans after meetings, volunteer on committees and just be nice and friendly. It's actually pretty easy in the new semester. When you see someone from your house in the same class, make a point of sitting with them, studying with them and sharing notes. You'll be fine.

Absolutely ^ true. New semester, new opportunities. And someone like you who has made a commitment to your sorority should run for office.
