disappointed

Yesterday I had the disappointment of running across this site.
I am telling you Mizzou in the midst of a disgusting epidemic. Since when has it been acceptable to tear down others in order to come out on top? We all talk about how connected the Greek community is. I made the mistake of BELIEVING THIS going through recruitment.
I love my house. I wouldn't have chosen any other house. They were one of my top three all throughout recruitment. When I mentioned it to my parents, they were skeptical. Why? Because they ran into this site. They read all of the terrible things posted about MY home, and so many other homes. They tried convincing me the last two days of recruitment to drop because they were afraid Greek life was too dramatic.
This is SAD.

Really, I'm sad that the community I now associate myself with is living up to its stereotype, when we can be doing so much more. Sure, we are involved with philanthropies and we do some great stuff. But when the ties are loose, it's easy to fall.
