who pledged theta???
by: Curious
I live in a dorm that's probably 98% Greek. I've met super sweet new pledges from Pi Phi, GPhi, TriDelt, AChiO, KD, ChiO, Kappa, etc. etc. But not one single person who pledged Theta! Do they not leave their rooms or do they all live in some dorm on the other side of campus??
It's just kind of strange.
#4by: Where are they???
I agree with people who feel the Theta pledges are invisible. It's not meant to be a slam - maybe they're all studying or live in an obscure dorm somewhere. My dorm is co-ed, but almost all of the girls went through Recruitment and I've yet to meet a Theta pledge.
#5by: Hmmm....
This is so stupid. Exactly WHAT is the implication here? Because some loser who lives in a dorm hasn't met a Theta, that matters? It just means she needs to get out more. Or perhaps stop hanging out with her drunk friends and spend a little time where the classy pledges go. And, by the way, there are no dorms that are 98% Greek. And, yes, Thetas leave their rooms just like anyone else. So if this was intended as some sort of insult, it's an epic fail.
#6by: Really
Why would anyone really care. I have seen Thetas, chiOs, DG, ADPi, SK... In classes and out in Greek town at night. All girls and also GDIs! It is hard to say where everyone is and honestly most girls aren't advertising which house there in at night. They are usually wearing a cute dress or top and not their affiliation letters around.

#10by: Really?
She was downtown and didn't know how to get to Greektown? She had to keep asking how to get there? Really? Considering Theta pledges are smarter than the average freshman, and that she had just spent the greater part of a week in Greektown, I hardly think she didn't know how to get there. And why would she be asking how to get to the Theta house instead of the dorm where she lived. Do you really expect people to believe this story?

And I KNOW she was a Theta pledge because the entire time she was walking downtown she kept asking people what direction the Theta house was and that she needed to find her sisters. Thankfully a group of girls stepped in and walked her home or else she might've gotten hurt.
