Just stay true to you. Go out have fun, drink water or cola. If you choose not to drink, that's cool. Hopefully you're pledging a house not known for drinking to an excess (G-Phrat). But even if you did, I'm sure there are other girls that aren't that big into partying. You'll find them. Especially next year when you live in-house.

In most houses you can always find a group of girls who aren't down for drinking. Not saying that you're going to find girls who don't drink at all but a lot of times your sisters would rather stay in and watch a movie than go drink. My advice is to just find girls when you wanna hang out that aren't in the mood to drink and hang with them. Or find girls who won't pressure you to drink. I was the same way and my sisters were very respectful about it!

This is how I was when I came to college as well. Now I'm cool with drinking and not as intimidated by it as I was when I got here a couple years ago, but your house will surely respect your decision to not drink. There are plenty in every house who aren't partiers! And it's nice to have someone around who you know will never be sloppy. If you're ever pressured to drink by drunk strangers while you're out just hold a drink and don't drink it and they'll leave you alone. Glad you went greek! Look into joining GAMMA, Greeks Advocating the Mature Management of Alcohol, you'd be great!

GAMMA is a great way to meet other Greeks who don't drink. I joined and it really helped the transition into college/greek life smooth.
