I'm sick of all these bottom tier houses taking over this site, i'm putting an end to the bickering. so here's where you stand in the rankings (concrete) after recruitment.

Top: chi o, pi phi, delta, kappa
mid: theta, adpi, gphi, aphi, axo, kd, dg

Funny how Alpha phi has worse grades and retention than some of the "bottom tier" houses that you listed but they are considered solid mid tier on this website... Just looked at the greek life website and am a little confused considering that same reason is why you all say those houses are bottom tier. I am in an "upper mid tier" house that even had to COB a few, but I know Alpha Phi always has to COB a ton and struggles to find girls to join. Do grades and retention really even matter then if some of the upper houses have worse grades than a lot of the lower houses? Or is that just a reason people throw out to keep the lower houses in their place even if they are hypocritical?

Aphi doesn't cob as many girls, or every year for that matter, but you're right- some would argue they're in bottom tier. Just depends who you ask

Sure, Alpha Phi struggles, but so does every house. Alpha Phi has the advantage of a better reputation than the bottom tier houses, and not every pledge class is gorgeous like Tri Delt, but the majority of them are good-looking at least. Also, Alpha Phi tends to do well in GW and ok in HoCo and also RAMS (which I know doesn't count, but Theta would count it, why can't A Phi?). Also, Alpha Phi currently has less scandals than DG. They're not at risk of losing their charter and that's never, they aren't on any kind of probation, no hazing scandals in the last 5 years. So even though some would argue that A Phi is bottom tier, most wouldn't. They would say Alpha Phi is improving. It might not ever be top tier, but I think it could break upper-mid.

I think the only houses that would argue alpha phi as lower than mid tier is bottom tier houses or houses at risk of being bottom tier soon (KD). Also, AXO would love it if a phi was bottom tier. Honestly I think the only reason why a phi ISN'T upper-mid tier is that they honestly don't care. They're ok with being mediocre and surprising people when they do well. Some of my bffs are alpha phis and their house seems really chill and relaxed about everything.

Why would axo care if aphi was bottom tier? Aren't they both in mid tier? If I was an axo, I would be happy being where I was. They've improved, they deserve their spot, but I don't think they care about taking down other mid tier houses as long as they're recognized as one. I would be pissed too if I had to fight that much to break out of bottom tier. I never hear any of them complain. I think they're happy where they are. But I can see why people get crazy on this site not wanting to be labeled as bottom tier. Zeta has been struggling to break our of bottom tier as well, they get just as much negativity as the next house. But then there's houses like SK and sigma who feel they're mid tier but its just laughable.
