attention out of state women
by: I'm from ColoradoMissouri as a state is about as redneck as you can get, but if you are coming here from out of state, don't worry that the people here are toothless meth heads. This school is much more liberal than you would think (probably because of the J School influence) and you can truly find an intellectual community to your liking.

I was a bit scared before I came here. I always liked the vibe (my sister went here and I would visit her) but I was worried about the reactionary politics. There's nothing to worry about. This place is like an island of tolerance and as I enter my sophomore year I have made great friends and am proud to be part of a sisterhood in a place that is so welcoming. Did I mention I'm a woman of color?

Every college campus is liberal unless it’s some type of denomination. Y’all buying into the progressive agenda which is your choice. Just remember neither the left or right really gives a hoot about you!! They only care about themselves and getting re-elected for the big payoffs. And everyone else is just a worker bee. That’s how those at the top stay there. Don’t take 50 years to understand that one. My advice is to be yourself and don’t push any agenda for those idiots in Washington. Good luck

You will have to be sure to tell me how Medicare, health insurance for people will pre-existing conditions and Social Security as promised advances the agenda of politicians who only care about themselves. I was raised by my grandparents who lost everything in George W. Bush's recession. If it weren't for Medicare and Social Security my grandparents would be destitute. Now, tell me again who is benefiting from that?

Hmmm,
George Bush's recession?? Really? do you pay attention at all? Not a huge Bush fan, but his administration was pushing for reform of GSE's from 2002 on. Look it up. The key words in your statement are "as promised." Medicare, health insurance for people will pre-existing conditions and Social Security cannot possibly survive as promised. You may be able to get away with pre-existing conditions, but Medicare and Social Security are demographically doomed mainly because the Federal government has never really cut spending and has used any surplus to fund other Social, Military, etc programs. We are literally borrowing to maintain programs. There is no real reviews of effectiveness, nothing. it's criminal.
