recruitment

I know everyone says to stay off this sight before going through recruitment but with it only being 2 weeks away I cant help but start to be nervous. im not here looking at who is top tier middle or bottom, I will be honored to just be greek. I have a 2.9 gpa and with a very good explanation to why it isnt higher. I want to give 110% to my sisters and my letters and make them proud. I want college to be a fresh start and the whole gpa thing is bringing back all the stress i had in high school. If a house cuts me i know it wasnt suppose to be I just want to know if i should spend my first day explaining my story around my gpa or just focus on trying to make a connection with small talk. All I want is one extra day with the houses so they can get to know me and not just a transcript that doesnt look so promising.
