by: Dallas FreshmanIt seems like there must be a TON of paper piling up before recruitment even starts. Do the houses mainly worry about tracking & working off of each PNM official online registration instead of all of the fancy resumes, alum rec letters, etc?? I hope so because I know girls who inflated their GPAs & ACT scores on their resumes to look better to Alums.

We get so many rec letters. We're not actually going to read them all. Lying about your GPA to alums so they'll write you a glowing rec letter isn't going to help. We don't care. Some houses might give you an automatic invite to the second round if you have a rec letter. But honestly, unless your letter was written by the national president of XYZ, we don't really care.

But ACT scores aren't on the transcripts. Is that why the houses base grade cuts on GPA , not SAT/ACT???
