by: UmmmThis site and "ranks" is nonsense!! It depends on who you are/where you come from when it comes to which house you like. For example, coming from St. Louis you'll want DG even though its had some bumps because lots of girls they knew from high school are there and it means a lot to them. Whereas someone from out of state may not get a bid there. Also, I know a girl in Pi phi who actually wanted kappa but got cut. Some people say Pi phi is better, but not in everyone's opinion obviously. I also know a girl in kappa who wanted gphi, but got cut. Some may say kappa is better, but not to that girl. I know a gphi who cut tri delt, and wanted gphi but some say tri delt is better. I know a girl in KD and that was her FIRST choice the whole week. It's about who you connect with, so chill it with the ranks. No one will agree because we're all looking for different things and connect with different people.

I remember when I rushed that I loved KD on the first day because they were all so sweet and easy to talk to. I ended up in Kappa but this whole thing with tiers/ranks is silly because KD and Kappa usually don't get put in the same tier but I loved them both and still love them both. It's about who you mesh with and where you can see yourself making friends.
Trust me on this, if you pick your house on reputation/tiers/ranks you might not be happy. It's much better to pick a house for how you like them then pick them based on popularity.

KD has "entered the playing field" when it comes to actually caring about their rank. Not sure if it has anything to do with the newer houses on campus increasing competition, or if they're just sick of other houses passing them in the rank system, but these girls are seriously one of the most defensive houses on this website. They respond to almost every low rank with a self rank now-a-days. super unclassy. They're just as bad as AXO/DG/ZETA/ADPI/SIGMA with self ranks its ridiculous. and you can always tell when one writes a post on the main board bc they always try to sneak/link themselves to top houses like Kappa or Theta. I think they have more in common with houses around them then they ever will with top houses. so just give it a rest. there's a reason you can't move up in the rankings. ya'll are just wannabees like everyone else so stop thinking your better than everyone.

Seriously? KD's are completely harmless. Why are you so obsessed with KD's? All of a sudden this site had blown up with KD hate. Interchangeable with AXO, both are less attractive than A Phi ( who were pretty bad not so long ago), sweet and hardworking. Bottom of middle tier. I dont think its KD on this site, it's some girl with a vendetta.

Poster above me, "KD", dafaque is your problem? What's with the KD hate? If you mean people are comparing KD to better sororities on this website, OK, sure. People are doing that. they're saying things like KD is LIKE Kappa, girl-next-door types, only Kappas are way prettier. They're saying things LIKE KD is like Theta, involved, but not as smart. Also, they're compared to sororities that are equal/lower tier than them. They're LIKE Phi Mu, they have a great sisterhood. I don't see the self-rank in any of those comparisons, and I don't think it's KD doing the comparing. Like Phi Mu, I think they just don't care. Oh! Should I not have compared them to another sorority on this website? My Bad.

I'm a KD legacy which was why my love for that house was so strong. Don't try and minimize my personal recruitment experience because you don't know me. I clearly stated that KD and Kappa are never considered in the same tier but that doesn't change the fact that it was my mothers house and I had a connection there. So back off.
