The only two houses that are COBing right now are Zeta and Sigma, so unfortunately there isn’t a lot of opportunity. But keep trying, you never know. It is true though that more houses COB in the spring after winter grads, transfers, etc. leave.

The informal process is very flawed. It is rigged to favor friends of people already in the house and signing up doesn't guarantee you will ever be called or considered. The best houses don't do it on a regular basis anyway. It might be a good idea for you to concentrate on your other friendships at this point, or go thru formal in fall (though it is a challenge to do that as a junior). Sadly, that's the reality. P.S. When is something going to be done about this unfair and often discriminatory process? Mizzou greeks deserve better.
