Top tier: Chi Omega, Theta, Pi Phi
Middle top: Tri delta, ADPI,
Middle: Alpha Chi, Gphi, Aphi, Zeta
Middle Bottom: Sigma Kappa, Kappa Delta
Bottom: Phi MU, Tri Sigma

This really depends on what you are looking for in a sorority. Chi O, Theta and Pi phi are top tier because they’re involved on campus and hold a lot of leadership around campus. If you value looks and the party scene over those kinds of things, Gphi and aphi might be a top house to you. It just depends! You’ll find your home and love wherever you end up

I agree with the top two, but I'd put Alpha Chi, GPhi and Kappa in the middle; Zeta, KD and Alpha Phi in the bottom middle and SK, Trisig and PhiMu in the bottom.

Anyone caught up with "rankings" and "tiers" isn't confident enough in themselves and their decision making to know that you should join the house where you fit in, no matter what anyone else thinks.

Who wants to spend 4 years in a house where they have to put on a facade, don't connect with most of the members or don't feel at home, just because it fits into a certain "tier" or perception - ?

ALL of the houses at Mizzou are good choices - it just depends on what your priorities are.

If, as you say, all of the houses at Mizzou are good choices, why would you criticize someone for choosing a top tier house? If there is any logic in your post, I'm not seeing it. I breezed through rush, with a lot of confidence and real delight in meeting so many new people and learning about so many wonderful houses. I wanted a house that was financially stable, attractive, with a strong national and with an excellent retention rate so that I would be with the same girls in my pledge class all four years. In other words, I wanted a top tier house. Now, what about that makes me not confident? Just because you didn't think you would fit into a house that is more selective doesn't mean there is a problem with people who join that house. Open up your mind and stop stereotyping. And stop being critical of other people's priorities just because you don't share them.

Yawn! This girl ^ doesn't understand how IP addresses work. This girl ^ not only didn't get into a top tier sorority, but didn't get into a sorority at all! She lives on the other side of the country and comes on here daily to make condescending comments, living in a little fantasy land where she "has it all" rather than her cruel reality of being a pathetic cyberbully/troll. In one of her recent rants about "rention issues" (side note -like graduating with 90 pledge sisters is SO. MUCH. BETTER. than graduating with 80 of them) she noted how GPhi's "rention issues" are the reason they can't afford renovations. Funny, considering GPhi's house is PRESENTLY in the midst of being renovated. You are AT BEST an out of touch alumn (bottom tier at the time, hense that chip on your shoulder) but most likely you're just a sad, unemployed creep in a basement. No one takes you seriously, time to move on!

Let the PNMs decided based on their own experience visiting each house and going through the recruitment process - you don't need to interject your own biased opinions!

Anyone else notice that the newest houses in PHA are ALWAYS listed in the bottom tier, no matter what improvements they make to their homes or the quality of their membership?

- Sigma Kappa and Phi Mu - who had already had a past here as their sororities closed and then returned to re-colonize/re-claim their houses at Mizzou.

- Sigma Sigma Sigma - the latest sorority to colonize at Mizzou.

Coincidence?

Why must we rank the houses like this?

I'd like to see more of a breakdown of attributes for all of the houses - it will make it easier for PNMs to find what they are looking for.

Switch Kappa and Theta, and then I think it’s perfect!

Theta is extremely selective and belongs in the top tier. Kappa is high middle. Alpha Phi is probably at the top of the lowest tier.

I agree with senior’s post/rankings. Pretty accurate. Maybe switch theta and gphi as theta has long standing history with being selective with grades. The rest of those houses have been very selective for different reasons and have long standing reputations.

Anyone who puts Theta on par with Alpha Phi and Zeta must not go to school here.
