real greek life isn't this catty

by:

For any PNM's who are here and concerned that you're about to sign onto four years of some dramatic Lifetime movie, don't worry about it. Things only get this catty during things like recruitment/hoco because everyone wants to do their best. Every day of your life in a sorority isn't going to be sitting around talking hot or not or grades or any of that.

Honestly? It's a lot of meetings at the house. It's grabbing lunch with your sisters. It's studying together in Ellis when you all have the same J1100 exam coming up. It's way more chill and fun.

Don't let how hostile and weirdly catty this website gets during recruitment keep you from rushing or worry you. You'll be totally fine and have a great time.

90% it's getting drunk with your sisters, the other 10% is meetings

Perhaps ^ that's true in some houses. But to most of us that's not what a true sisterhood is about. Sad that you feel the need to pay $5,000+ a year just to find someone to drink with.

sad that you pay 5000$ to find a connection instead of to attend events..

Everyone pretty much gets along to your face, but this just goes to show you that petty people will do anything to make themselves look better.
