sororities haze too
by: hypocritesMaybe y'all should quit telling frats they are "dragging down the system" when y'all are guilty of all the same behavior.

Yeah as is if a sorority at Mizzou would ever have. Sororities can’t even exempt seniors from pomp hours, or that’s considered hazing. There hasn’t been a concern of a sorority hazing at Mizzou for over 10 years. I’m sure there individual cases of bullying, but definitely not hazing. Especially with the how Greek life at this school has been looked at the past couple years, sororities would not be stupid or cruel enough to try.

There are sororites on this campus that aren't even allowed to have different colored bid day shirts because it's seen as hazing by their Nationals. Some houses aren't allowed to call their new members babies. Extreme? I think so personally. But it goes to show that our sororities are extra careful not to do anything that could be remotely considered hazing.
Meanwhile, every few months there's a National news story about some fraternity letting a poor pledge drink himself to death and then do nothing to help him while he dies of alcohol poisoning. There's a problem with the culture around fraternities and the way you guys treat your new members.
Fix yourselves. Don't try and pin this on us.

Sororities all haze as well. Look at Greekchat under the colonies, chartering and closure post and you will see that there are currently 14 NPC orgs. that closed at least one or more chapters this school year. NOT all of them were close for low #'s, most of them were closed for RM issues.
