Must we always point out what you sorority beatches refer to "lower tier" houses as "barely hanging on by a thread"?
A strong Panhellenic System means all houses support each other, not tear each other down.
I swear - some of your sorry-asses would prefer to see another house fail, as long as you can have your "better than thou" attitude. Get over yourselves!

No one wants another house to fail. The whole system is stronger when all houses are thriving. But I think it is irresponsible to deny that some houses are not in a strong position. When you have to COB semester after semester after semester just to fill your house and keep it afloat financially, there is a problem and PNMs should know that - and stay far away. The solution? Increase your fees so that you aren't desperate to get money to replace every member who leaves or, better yet, be more selective in who you take and work on your retention issues.

Unless you're in one of these houses how could you know that the motive of their COB is to "fill their house" or "keep them afloat financially?" To my knowledge every house is full and thriving, one of our houses with one of the "worst" rentention rates who cobs every year went under a million dollar home construction. Clearly COB is not directly correlated with your melodramatic claims that houses are hanging by a thread.

I’ve know chapters that have COB’d for most of their existence. These are chapters with a long long history. Yes, they are “lower tier”. Not your most popular on campuses.
They have strong sisterhoods. They have smart women who care about building strong leaders. They are not strong in recruiting large groups. They are most successful with one on one connections because PNMs initially all want the super popular chapters until they realize those chapters aren’t their type of vibe.
These chapters are not hanging on by a thread. They know how to play the game differently. They win their way.

Agreed! I don't want to name names but i'm confident that even the smallest chapters aren't struggling - such BS, I blame GDIs though. Why would another pha sister hold that much resentment. No wonder this site is dead these days...
