COBing is seen as a negative term on this campus. Campus total is too high right now that EVERY house should have COBed but three and that shouldn't happen. There were only three houses over total in the middle of the semester so they could have lost more women. Stop making it so negative. If houses didn't COB that's their decision but that just means less women for recruitment and other activities.

COBing should not be seen negatively. I am in one of the houses who COB'd, and we did it due to a few drops, and seniors that graduated at semester. With rush getting bigger and bigger, it is important to keep up with quota for recruitment. We have COB'd before and some of our best members were from spring pledge classes. The greek community needs to unite, not tear each other down. Its ok and natural to be competitive, but each chapter does amazing philanthropic work and are contributing factores in our system.

if KD COBed again this year I would be worried. They had to COB last year and took almost 120 girls because they couldn't make quota! If they COBed again this year it would say they can't retain members. (I mean, obviously they can't retain numbers because they had to COB that many girls in the first place, but doing it again the year after would just be embarrassing!)

anyone care that KD didn't COB? It literally made no difference in their house, right? They won't become a better house because they didn't COB. This discussion is the most that KD is ever talked about. BUT, ADPi got some heifers in their COBs. AXO got some pretty cute girls, not gonna lie. I think A Phi kept up with their tried to stay consistent with their fall pledge class, cause damn. Phi Mu's been getting cuter as well. There are some girls that could have definitely been in other houses in that pledge class.
