If a new sorority were to colonize, which one would you want to see? (this is 100% hypothetical and just for fun)

Anyone know anything about Alpha Xi Delta and why there's not been a chapter at Mizzou?

Aren't they pretty small nationally?

I think there are over 100 active Alpha Xi Delta chapters but am not sure if that's considered small. It was one of the ten founding sororities of the National Panhellenic Council and accepts graduate students as well as undergrads for membership.

A New sorority is not going to happen anytime soon. Just worry about the ones currently here.

Probably wont happen due to the amount of fraternities getting kicked off

It also depends on the incoming Freshmen enrollment for 2018-19. The last 2 years, enrollment suck at Mizzou.

Enrollment sucks nationwide. Never has it been easier to get into some of the elite universities. I can't see a new chapter colonizing unless the newer sororities already here become stronger. Sometimes I feel they are just barely hanging on.

Enrollment has been up for colleges/universities across the country for the last 12 years. This is due to the millennial generation that makes up about 35-40 million compared to Generation X (in college from 1989 to Mid 2000's) which only made up 27 million, hence the "RUSH RECESSION" of the 1990's and the Baby Boomers which made up about 50+ million (in college from 1960's to the late 1980's). We will be entering another "RUSH RECESSION" by 2020-21 when Generation Z, which only make up 19-22 million enters college.

The last of the millennials were born in 1997. The youngest turned 20 this year. At the peak of the millennial boom in 1990 there were about 5 million births a year. By the end, which are junior and senior college students this year, there were just over 4 million. College enrollment has been declining for the last 8 years and now Gen Z is entering post-secondary education, with a pool of 1 million fewer students than at the peak of the millennial boom. So, yea,the person who said college enrollment has been up for 12 years just likes to make sht up. Enrollmnents are down nationwide for two reasons: the college generation is significantly smaller and fewer students attend post-secondary schools when the economy strengthens. Sux to be stupid, doesn't it Actually?

Either DZ or AOPi would be a good choice. Housing, of course, is a major issue and problem that faces any sorority wanting to come onto campus.
