All these statements are all non-credible. People who rant in the fraternity system at Mizzou don't have a clue. They can be partly right for some guys in the system that want to mess around, but I have to disagree that most guys join for more than just that.

How many sororities are above the all-female, all-Greek and all-school average? And how many fraternities? How competitive is fraternity rush when most houses will take just about anyone in order to keep their numbers up. Good lord, there are even fraternities who lease some of their rooms out to non-Greeks just to pay the mortgage. It's hardly a semblance of the best and the brightest, now is it, when most fraternities are scraping the bottom of the barrel. I truly think that men start losing precious brain cells the minute they pledge, and by the time they are upperclassmen they barely have an actual functioning brain. It's not pretty and it's not something to be proud of. I'd shut them all down (except maybe Beta), and only allow new charters to those with high standards.

I don't hate the Greek system. In fact, I think the sorority system is worthy of envy. It is competitive and really encourages women to aim high and be their best. It's the fraternity system that gives Greek life on this campus a bad name.

Why do you assume I hate women? It is just a statistic. This is why we have problems at mizzou because everyone jumps to a conclusion against someone after they speak out.

Love to see the statistic you based YOUR assumption on -- that 90% of fraternity troubles are caused by women. REALLY? We know your type. You have never accepted responsibility for anything in your life. It's always someone else's fault. Your mother probably does your wash, too. And daddy keeps pumping cash into your account because you keep being overdrawn. But, hey, you just keep thinking that your problems are caused by women if that makes you feel better about yourself.

I love how these girls cant accept the fact that there freshman babies make stupid mistakes non-stop. You hold them such I high standard with rules that once they enter in a frat house they go hog wild. drinking, smoking, and stealing. I promise you this watch some video feeds from fraternities women cause trouble.

Because these boys (not men) have to re-live their high school years in college. So they think what they did in HS, they could do in college and get away with it. They are finding out that is the NOT the case. Remember, HS is required and mandatory, college is not, it's you choice. What was done in the past 20-50 years ago, is NOT acceptable in today's society.
