cob or rush this fall?

by:

I'm a freshman and I know it's pretty late in the game for COBing. I've already seen girls receive bids from ZTA and APhi, and my friend told me that SK is no longer handing out bids. I've been invited to COB events for Phi Mu, but I'm not sure if that's the place for me. I don't want to accept a bid there and wonder if I would've liked another house more, you know? So do you think it's a good idea to COB now, or should I just wait to rush this summer as a sophomore? If other houses already handed out bids, are they most likely not going to hand out any more? And is it harder to get in as a sophomore? Let me know your thoughts please!

I would actually contact the houses you are interested in because 12 out of the 15 houses are COBing right now and I know for a fact not all of those houses have finished COBing. It's never to late to try to COB and sending an email won't hurt. So I would send all of the houses emails. And yes some girls have received bids already but during COB houses can give out bids as long as they would like and often do it over a couple of weeks if they are quietly COBing.

I would email PHA or the Greek Life office asking about COBing and then also email the chapter VPMs (vice president of membership) if you are interested or the presidents emails are sometimes easier to find.

actually if you read the PHA minutes from the meeting executive meeting each house has access to last week, you would know 12 out of the 15 are COBing. Which I have access to as a recruitment person for a house on campus. And don't start cursing when I am right lol You honestly have no idea what you are talking about.

That information is actually distributed only to the PHA delegates who they often send it to her chapters presdient and sometimes the other people the meeting may have concerned in the chapter such as the VPM.
