Great house. But it doesn't mean much to be a legacy. The best houses on campus -- Kappa, PiPhi, Theta, XO, TriDelt, ADPi, AXO -- could fill two pledge classes each year just with legacies and no one wants that. You have to qualify on your own, and most legacies get cut. Sorry, but it's true.

I am a legacy, too, and my mom and aunt were really angry when I got cut. But I wound up in a house that most people think is just as good or better. I still like theta and have several friends in the house. It's a good sisterhood, too, from what i understand. I guess what I'm saying is that theta is something to aim for but don't count on the legacy thing.

You definitely cannot walk into any house thinking that you'll for sure get a bid because you're a legacy. That being said, it does help you. Theta is a wonderful house in my opinion. The girls aren't the most social on campus but they are very sweet, love their sisterhood and are competitive in events and grades. The girls have a classy and smart reputation, so I would keep your grades up this year and try to get into leadership positions in anything you're involved with while you're still in high school. Also its hard but try to stay off this site! There's so much bs that can make you think that there's a ton of fighting and drama between houses but it's honestly way worse on here than in person.
