Nice try Kappa, but no one thinks of you as an elite house. Rich private school kids? Those that are out of state are much more likely to pledge Theta, PiPhi or ADPi. And if you are talking about the St. Louis pseudo elite schools that are a dime a dozen, well, you can have those girls. They don't do particularly well in college without mommy and daddy hovering around micromanaging their lives.

Responding to yes please-- do u even know any kappas? I do. Many of them are legacies and or private school kids from kc area. Call it what you like but private school kids usually come from money. Just sayin. Nice girls but I have a feeling you have to come from that background to get a bid in most cases.

Every house has pretty girls. Lots of them, in fact. But they also have smart girls, talented girls, funny girls, athletic girls. It's just a handful of houses who still think being pretty is all it takes to succeed -- and it seems our recent PNMs wanted more than to just be a pretty face.

You're right, pretty houses are ONLY pretty. They don't have any intelligent, talented, funny or athletic girls. No wonder you're in an academic house, you are a GENIUS!!

You need to consider the impact not being able to live in house your sophomore year has on a recruitment. I think GPhi had an awesome recruitment with that being an issue.

Of course some pretty houses have intelligent, funny, athletic etc. girls. But how would you like to be one of them and all you hear about from members is how pretty everyone is. That's sending a message FROM YOUR OWN SISTERS that looks are the only thing that matters and that's SO SUPERFICIAL. So do yourself a favor, Alpha Phi, and start appreciating your sisters for who they are, not just what they look like. If and when you do, they might just stay around a little longer instead of quitting.

GPhi didn't drop a tier, sorry

I don't personally feel that axo got a great PC this year, the past two years seemed a lot stronger. They took a lot of girls my house cut first round, maybe they know something we don't but I doubt it - ADPi took back their girls and crushed it this year.

TriDelt did better than the past two years, but it is too early to tell if they are on the way back up to top tier.

Kappa did well, but what "glory days" are you talking about? They've always been middle tier and perhaps have risen to the top of mid-tier, but not to upper tier. Their members have personalities that match their house: stodgy.
AXO continues to be a solid house, you're right. But they have a way to go before they are considered top tier. And, frankly, their house is not nearly as impressive as other physical structures on campus. It's charming, but their alums need to put some money into it.

I love how people say AXO had a great recruitment when they look like SKs (and all we're going off is looks) and then they said GPhi/APhi's classes "stunk" when they had the two hottest PCs, respectively. You could make up anything and a bunch of trolls will repeat it for months.

Axos new member class was among the best overall, and only on Greek rank so people try and say that they are no better looking than SK. Lots of lies on this site. My guess it's just someone threatened with axo and their success. Same with kappa. It's tome to give credit where credit is due and both kappa and axo are breaking into top tier of not already there.

Kappa, yes, best class I've ever seen from them. For the past 2 years AXO had been taking ADPi's best girls and this year ADPi took them back. AXO's class looks very bottom tier and ADPi killed it. Sorry, no threat, my house is top tier, AXO isn't my concern but this year was a huge step back for them, ADPi is very much back in the game. AXO not so much.
