new rankings after recruitment

We've had enough time to analyze which sororities did well and which sororities tanked during rush. Time for a new ranking based on how things truly went down and overall quality, so alums need not comment. Here are the best and also the rest. In order.
Top tier: PiPhi, Theta, ChiO, TriDelt, Kappa
Mid Tier: ADPi, AXO, GPhi, DG, Zeta (yes, new houses help a lot)
Bottom tier: KD, SK, APhi, PhiMu, Sigma

I think this is an accurate reflection of who did well and who didn't. That's why several house have risen through the ranks. This recognizes the excellent rush by several houses: TriDelt, Kappa, ADPi, DG and Zeta. And also acknowledges some houses that faltered a bit: ChiO, GPhi, APhi. If I would make one change it would be to put KS in the middle tier because they did so well last month.

Gphi is still top. zeta is still bottom - no matter how much they post on this site otherwise. You compete with other bottom tier houses and therefore you're bottom tier. Just because aphi is struggling does not mean you automatically get bumped up to mid. KD would be the first bottom tier house to move to mid over zeta.

Posting on this site never changed PNMs perception of a sorority. But in the last recruitment we saw that new houses made a big difference. DG was barely hanging on to mid tier until they had a new house. And Zeta's house elevated them. Will it matter over the long haul? Time will tell. But for how it secured their spot in the middle tier because the new houses allowed them to compete with other mid-tier houses instead of being the best choices among bottom tier. I also disagree that Gamma Phi is the top house. I don't know what happened during this year's rush, but they really blew it. They seem to have lost their focus.

The fact that Zeta did so poorly even though they had a chance to create some buzz with their new house actually cements them into the bottom tier. They had a chance but chose to keep the same strategy that has kept them in the bottom tier all these years, they blew it. The popular pretty girls they go for will ALWAYS choose a top or a mid house over a bottom, change up the strategy. For one I know you took all the social girls my house rejected, just as you do every year.

It's funny that anyone who actually goes here would think G Phi is not top and that Zeta is not bottom.

I'd switch ADPi and Kappa. ADPi had a great rush, but not enough to move it into Theta's place. But I agree they made it into top tier. I also agree that Zeta and DG are now firmly middle tier because of their new houses.

i personally don't think theta is a top house at all... have had mediocre recruitments the past couple years.. adpi and kappa should both be top and theta should be mid
