Posting on this site never changed PNMs perception of a sorority. But in the last recruitment we saw that new houses made a big difference. DG was barely hanging on to mid tier until they had a new house. And Zeta's house elevated them. Will it matter over the long haul? Time will tell. But for how it secured their spot in the middle tier because the new houses allowed them to compete with other mid-tier houses instead of being the best choices among bottom tier. I also disagree that Gamma Phi is the top house. I don't know what happened during this year's rush, but they really blew it. They seem to have lost their focus.

The fact that Zeta did so poorly even though they had a chance to create some buzz with their new house actually cements them into the bottom tier. They had a chance but chose to keep the same strategy that has kept them in the bottom tier all these years, they blew it. The popular pretty girls they go for will ALWAYS choose a top or a mid house over a bottom, change up the strategy. For one I know you took all the social girls my house rejected, just as you do every year.

It's funny that anyone who actually goes here would think G Phi is not top and that Zeta is not bottom.

I'd switch ADPi and Kappa. ADPi had a great rush, but not enough to move it into Theta's place. But I agree they made it into top tier. I also agree that Zeta and DG are now firmly middle tier because of their new houses.

i personally don't think theta is a top house at all... have had mediocre recruitments the past couple years.. adpi and kappa should both be top and theta should be mid

I agree. And both Kappa and ADPi had great recruitment this year.

I'm pretty sure the desperate person is the one ^ who has been on here all afternoon, talking up Alpha Phi and saying insulting things about Zeta. If Alpha Phi is not threatened by Zeta, why would you do that? Are you REALLY saying their new house didn't help them? Are you REALLY saying they didn't have a good recruitment? What planet are you on?

Well for one there's definitely more than one person posting. Zeta is not a well liked house - it is what it is. Second, it's a known fact that zeta did not have a good recruitment. They lost many of their top pick girls to other bottom tier houses. So I think the reason there are so many people posting that zeta isn't ready to move to mid tier is 100% accurate. And I personally feel the only people who are pro-zeta are zetas talking up themselves. On campus, the truth of the matter is that despite the new house, they didn't have strong recruitment (as seen on social media and on campus), and they are doing whatever they can to state otherwise on Greek rank. So yes, in the previous commenters defense, zeta is being rather "annoying" by trying to jump tiers when they have no viable reason to move up from bottom tier. I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings, but there are just stronger houses on campus that have worked hard to be competitive. Zeta is not one of those houses right now.

There are many different posters my sad delusional Zeta. Trust me, it isn't APhi. If I were SK, KD or even Phi Mu I'd be annoyed that Zeta thinks a tacky new house just automatically moves them up. All three of those houses had a better recruitment than Zeta did and they didn't even have an upperhand, that's sad Zeta. Next year, try to get some girls with substance instead of all the girls the middle tier kicked out due to lack of class.
