how to do fraternity informal rush

couldn't participate in formal rush but I don't know where to even start with informal rush. What do I do?

Text the rush chair of a fraternity and they'll usually ask you for your name and some basic info. Then around October/late September they'll start inviting you to rush events and it goes from there.
