do we know???

by: Wondering

Do we know how many women dropped in the last days of recruitment when they weren't pleased with their choices? It seems to me that fewer dropped, which might mean more women were more intent on being Greek than being in a top house. I doubt there are stats on this, but anyone care to share their observations? I know that when I went through rush in 2016 people were dropping like crazy.

I think fewer women dropped. I am in a house that at times has had trouble making quota and in the past have lost as many as 20% of the people we asked back for pref day. This year we lost a lot of girls after the second round, but not nearly as many as in the past for pref day. It was a different sort of recruitment.

If there were 1300 girls that went to pref and the quota was 63-do the numbers.

This year's number won't exactly answer the question unless we have last year's numbers, too. right, Brainiac?

There is a statistic available to recruitment teams. The percent of the women who joined is about the same this year as last year - maybe a bit lower.

So your "like entire dorm" magically ended up with Phi Mu and Trisig? Pathetic over exaggeration from dramatic ZTA

I heard that most girls that dropped was because they had zeta and sigma left.

That's a blatant lie. The same person who is peddling that B.S. told me that 11 girls who got into Alpha Phi didn't show up ever.
