zeta to fold charter at mizzou?
by: Rumor has itZetas nationals have poured tons of cash into building a new house in hopes of increasing retention. Zeta has been on the decline for years with other, newer, chapters gaining ground. Zeta has struggled to keep up. Zetas numbers have remained steady although they had to COB 3 X last year to maintain average numbers. Despite the new house, zeta continued to get a sub-par PC. Will nationals take the next step to clean house? Start over? Pull the chapter? A little extreme options, but zeta should be doing much MUCH better on this campus than where they're at. Hopefully they can keep their new members this year and graduate the ones causing drama and problems that ruins their reputation. My bet is if zeta can't keep their new PC again, nationals will clean house

This post is ridiculous. If Zeta was in so much trouble as you are inferring then there's no way in hell their Alumnae or Nationals would have wasted the time or money to build the chapter here a brand new house.
So tired of all the Zeta-hating. It has become very stale.

OP: I honestly don't even think you're in a house here at Mizzou. If you were, you'd be more focused on events and activities going in your own house, meeting your house's new "babies", and catching up with everyone you call your sister.
Instead, you write a damn thesis that is one long string of lies about a house you aren't even in... meaning you couldn't really know the situation of Zeta's standing with their Nationals.
Did you suicide Zeta and not get a bid last year or something? As I said above, I have my serious doubts that you're even Greek because you'd have a life and not have time to concoct the lies and vitriol you packed into a fake exposé about a house you aren't even in! Praying you aren't a Journalism major.

Post is ridiculous for a couple reasons. #1 I don't know of any National that pours money into anything. Nationals take, they don't give (financially). 2. No alumni would take on a multi million dollar project like this if they were considering folding a charter. Doesn't happen. Especially with sororities when most of the debt service is covered by operations and not alumni. Just sayin...

There she is sounds like she/he has never delt with A National. They collect to keep their organization going, they typically have very little assets outside their educational foundations, which cannot be used to secure debt. Each chapter is more of a franchise than anything else with the assets managed and owned by the individual chapters house corporation. They may help you arrange financing, but they definitely don't contribute or stand behind anything financially. Our National doesn't even work out of Headquarters anymore, They are all remote. They do use those funds to buy insurance, which is by far their biggest expense.

THERE is NO zeta hater! And while the OP was harsh, there IS some truth to it. Will zeta close? No that's laughable. Are they in trouble? You bet. Zeta is one of the least popular houses at mizzou and their recruitment proves that.
