You just have to meet the girls and see where you feel you fit best! Each has some amazing people and their own great things. It's all about you and your connection. Every group has people you might enjoy or not. They all want to have a good time working together and making their sorority special. Sigma Kappas that I know are genuine, darling girls who are building a wonderful sisterhood. We all respect them. Food for thought! I'm sure Zetas are great too. I don't think you can go wrong. Keep in mind that the sorority has to choose you, too. Make sure that you recognize the good in both! Also know that DG and trisig are COB-ing as well!

Also, I don't know how involved you want to be in greek life, but Sigma Kappa is trying HARD to make a name for themselves and it might take a little more drive to be in their chapter since their worrying about appearance so much right now

^ SK only taking girls for looks? I see why that's helpful as a bottom tier house, trying to improve an image... but it kinda seems shallow.Then again, some other bottom tier chapters have done that in the past and it got them ranked higher, and they were able to recruit more well-rounded girls after a PC of all cute girls (APhi and AXO I know have done this technique).

My sister is an SK and she told me they're looking for well rounded, cute, fun, active girls. They're not just taking anybody who wants to join and I can see why. They pulled big numbers for a colony class and they've got mostly freshmen so they really don't need new members since nobody is leaving this year, minus like three seniors. They are taking advantage of the fact that they can be selective in a way an established house can't.

My advice, attend events for all of them and see which group you fit better with. Like your own mock-recruitment. Don't count anybody out and go with your heart, not with gossip.
