who do you like after day 1???

I liked most of the houses I visited today, but some of the conversations were painful even though I can talk to just about anyone. I think SK, APhi and Kappa really need to have a crash course tonight in how to keep the conversation. I was really surprised at the long, awkward gaps that I had to fill. It shouldn't be that way. And in each of those houses I spoke with girls who seemed to be, as my mother would say, as dumb as a box of rocks. I hope it's better tomorrow.

That's what rush is about, isn't it? You get to meet just a handful of members, relatively speaking, and then make up your in just a few short days. Everyone says you have to go with your gut and my gut tells me there are lots of less than average girls in the houses I went to today. I hope it's better tomorrow when I go to Theta, AXO, KD, PiPhi and ADPi, among others. In the meantime, my cheeks hurt I smiled so much and my feet are killing me. Here's to a better tomorrow.

Good luck with day two everyone. I guess it's hard to change but wouldn't it be nice if people just said who the liked and skipped the part about who they didn't like or criticize a house for what they wore. Rush isn't just thrown together no matter what some of the comments are online. From the hundred of members in each house you'll find your niche and make friends/sisters that will last a lifetime. The system really does work

How can you say the system works when in any given year more than a third of the girls drop out and/or wind up with nothing? That's not my definition of success. So save the lectures and the Pollyanna sentiments and let us figure this out for ourselves.
