greek week

So I'm a freshman in a sorority and I'm curious about Greek Week. I know it's one week of sports and skit, but when do you start partying with your partner? Is it sort of like homecoming where you spend most of the semester together? Or is it basically a marriage party week of sports/skit and then an announcements party?
