Last I heard was about 1285. Last year was around 1500+.

The numbers are a reflection of enrollment. I think it's time for lower tier houses to set higher standards or shut down.

Man you're smart^^! Recruitment #s are a reflection of enrolment, not the other way around. Lower tier houses having higher "standards" has zero effect on enrolment... Solid contribution though. If you're concerned about standards maybe you should contact your exec and demand they quit letting bozo's like you in their PCs.
