I don't understand why people say tri delt is falling. They have had problems this past year, but are a consistently strong house with amazing girls inside and out, and are popular on campus. AXO is involved, but that's really where it stops. They take as many grade risks as alpha phi during recruitment, their grades have slipped, and you don't really hear about them socially.

There's lot more to Greek life than your sisters GPA, literally the least important aspect of sisterhood to the majority of pnms

Agreed, a lot of girls could care less about GPA, but the top houses do care. If you don't have top grades, no need to worry about the top houses.

A 3.8+ is the level where you should put your GPA on your resume so no, I absolutely don't think that's a bad GPA, I have a ton of respect for Theta even though they weren't the right house for me - plenty of friends from my major are in Theta. When half your members are below a 3.5 though, that's not something a house should be acting superior about because that's really not an accomplishment. It's average, it doesn't give you bragging rights/the right to be looking down upon houses with a 3.3 GPA, they are both less than stellar. Besides, Theta isn't really the problem, they have some of the most intelligent girls in the Greek community no doubt about that - my issue is more so with the houses that are full of arts majors that try to boast they have great academics. A 3.5 in arts might as well be a Mrs Degree.

So what do you think when half the people in your house have above a 3.5? Oh, yeah. Those are the same houses. And by the way, last semester PiPhi had a higher gpa than theta. B ut by all means, keep ragging on them for their embarrassing gpa even though you respect a house with a gpa that's lower. And ChiO, PiPhi and Theta are hardly full of arts majors, not that it matters if they were. Where do you get off being so judgmental about someone's major? I'm a biochem major and I can tell you that it comes extremely easily to me. Just don't ask me to draw a portrait or play a musical instrument or write a poem.

A 3.5 is not impressive therefore half the house being >3.5 is also not impressive....

First of all, where's theta? It belongs in the top tier, as does Tridelt. I would move KD to the middle tier and Alpha Phi to the bottom. And considering the crap that Alpha Phi has pulled on this site for the past several months, it is hardly on the rise. So, nice try Alpha Phi.

Disagree with everything except a phi still is a lower house. Bad grades, bad rep, having to cob, low retention rate, and a house full of bitter mean girls. They live and breath this website though.

Tri Delt has gone under for sure. They didn't make quota so they had to hand out snap bids to girls they thought they were too good for and cut initially which is just sad. They don't do well in grades, Greek Week, RAMS or Homecoming. All of those things equate to a house that is falling.

They've earned their spot as an upper mid tier house from involvement and having really good recruitment these past two years. All aspects of that house have improved

There are many houses where the tiers you all say they belong are in flux...don't count anyone out of any tier at this time.
Recruitment may change everything, in fact, I for one hope it does. Enough of classifying houses by pre-recruitment predictions.

Tridelt lost 60 girls the year before last (probably an exaggeration but a huge # of girls) and then had a brutal recruitment last year, having to hand out snap which ive never heard of another house doing, those two things would be a disaster for any chapter.
