Well it depends on what the gpa is. Every sorority has to cut based on grades during open house round. If you didn't meet their minimum gpa requirements it's likely you'll be cut first round. But grades won't eliminate you from every house I'm sure

Do you know what houses wouldn't Eliminate because of grades?

If you're going into recruitment with questionable grades, I would look for a place where you will get support from your sisters. Do not choose a house where grades don't matter because you likely will decide to party with them and before you know it you will have crashed and burned. It happens all the time.

As I posted previously----a 4.0 with a 22 ACT from a small rural school is just not the same as a 3.4 all Honors prep school with a 32 ACT.....so hopefully some one can tell the difference!

Top and mid tier houses have higher grade cuts. If you have questionable grades you may still be considered for bottom tier houses: aphi, SK, phi mu, sigma, zeta.

Do any sororities accept people on academic probation?
