how are the tiers determined?

who comes up with the tiers?
like what are the qualifications of being a top house sorority?
i'm just asking because it seems that every time i ask someone, the tiers are completely different.
especially when asking guys instead of girls

Everyone likes to think their house is a top house so ignore this site. Guys are usually biased towards pretty houses. As a pnm, just ignore the tiers anyway. Most of it is just bull. All the sororities hang out with all of the fraternities. We all are friends. Regardless of what you read on here, there's great girls in every house.

Tiers to girls seem to be based on grades, involvement, sisterhood, retention rates, how nice girls are to other sororities.
Being a great well rounded house makes you a top tier. Atleast in girls eyes.
Guys just seem to think the "hot" houses are top tier and they're really not. They're just pretty girls.

The houses who earn it get plenty of respect on this site. AXO and GPhi, for example, get plenty of props because they are on the rise. SK, too, gets some respect. And there's no need any more to consider Zeta a bottom dweller because they're doing just fine. If other houses would take grades seriously, they might rise too.

Phi mus arent even on this site, that's why they are always getting bashed so I'm glad someone is finally standing up for them!!! They deserve all the praise they're getting bc they obviously worked hard for it

YOU may not have gotten into a good looking house but it's a fact that the majority of pnms are joining Greek life for parties and boys. Whether you agree or not pnms do care. As you get older this will become old and that's why the pretty girl houses tend to have more drops.

EVERY house is a good looking house. Or at least every house has a large number of girls who are attractive. That's a given. It's just that some houses require their members to be more than pretty. If you settled for a good looking house, I'm sure you're very happy. But as I think about my pledge class I see beautiful girls who are also smart, savvy, leaders, athletes and so much more.
