Clearly you are not of this generation if you don't understand that a woman can be both smart and -----SHOCK ----- pretty. I'm certain you haven't gone to school here in a very long time, if ever, if you don't understand that.

And here's another news flash: you can have fun and party in college without being a bottom feeder when it comes to grades. So, yea, nice try.

There's was just a poll on top reason we all joined greek life and to party won by a lanslide... besides better than spending thousands for "sistehood" I had friends this close well before college

It has the oldest and best J-School in the nation. Duh. And, no, don't tell me about how no one reads newspapers. There isn't even a newspaper specialty in the J-School anymore. I'm in strat comm, but there are dozens of other specialties. But aside from the J-School....accounting, nursing, education -- all nationally ranked. SEC. Greek system, blues scene, great city. Since the most important degree is your last degree, why would you NOT start out at Mizzou and go on from there? People love to bash Mizzou, but, hey, it's one of the Top 100 universities in the nation, out of thousands. So since you don't know what you're talking about, perhaps it's time to STFU.

This site is rife with "smart shamers." There are women who are on this site constantly telling people the only thing that counts for a woman is "being hot." I can't believe people like that still exist. There is no shame in being smart and it's difficult for me to believe members of an academic community are still buying into that fallacy. How about this? Let's let women be who they want to be. And for the majority of the Greek community (considering that every sorority except Alpha Phi and Sigma fall above the all-female average GPA), that means paying attention to grades and doing the best they can. That's the standard here in Greektown, so don't EVER tell a sorority member that it's better to be pretty and hot than smart. Cuz we're not buying it.

NO ONE is saying that beautiful girls don't have anything else going for them. We are merely noting that if your biggest claim to fame is being in a "hot house," you are a sad soul. By the time you are 18+, you really should know that it doesn't take much to be hot, and that it is pretty pathetic that you base your self-worth according to whether loser frat guys want to sleep with you. Clearly, if that is your M.O., you aren't very smart. And I HAVE taken more than a few stats classes and I KNOW that when you are talking about such a limited range, a 0.2 difference in grades is def significant. If you doubt me, it's not too late to enroll in Stats 2500. I'll be a TA.

Hahahaha you are FOS, like you'd out yourself like that + my stats class didn't even have a TA. I calculated the standard deviation and variance of last semester's grades and both the highest and the lowest fall within the one standard deviation of the mean, IE to the rest of the world and school, every sorority is average and EQUAL. In terms you might understand if our sororities were graded on a bell curve we'd all have the same grade sweetie. So just stop.
