sorority recruitment videos

is contacted by companies/websites to make their recruitment video. Many sororities have now banned recruitment videos because it has become a publicity stunt/money maker for websites.
Both of their videos are awesome-drones are the highlights to the videos-Mizzou looks AMAZING(and it is).
People are questioning the validity of some of the videos and what is/can be displayed/implied-there will definitely be much chatter about this in the near future, so stay tuned.
Regardless, Mizzou is an amazing campus with an amazing greek life which is depicted in any recruitment video. Get involved!

aphi has 4 nursing students this semester which is AMAZING?!!!!Props to them because they have come a long way! it looks like they have now passed up piphi and chio for holding the record number of girls that get in to nursing school!

Only Alpha Phi would boast about 4 nursing students, and use it as an opportunity to rip two of the smartest houses on this campus. Hon, while you are getting juicy over your record number of nursing students, PiPhi and ChiO are celebrating their members who have gotten into med school. So, yeah, there's that.

Let's remember it's Alpha Phi that is boasting about 4 girls getting into a mid-tier (at best) nursing school. And don't trot out that ranking from a source no one has heard of. The reality is that it's great to be a nurse and the quality of the nursing program hardly counts, but Mizzou's nursing school isn't exactly Johns Hopkins' quality. And while we're at it, Alpha Phi, how many girls do YOU have going to med school. (P.S. The number of applicants to the Mizzou nursing school was down this year, as we all professional schools, because of the demographic shift)

Getting into ANY medical school is an accomplishment. It is super competitive everywhere. It takes stamina and perseverance to get in and finish. Very few apply to the " top tier" medical schools unless they want to go very very deep into debt. Not to mention those schools often have a very deep commitment to academic medicine. If you want to be a primary care physician, you need to keep your debt to a minimum as physician pay is declining. Not everyone has the resourceS in their family to graduate debt free. In addition,many schools are making a point to limit acceptance of first year applicants.

Getting into any medical school as a senior in college is really awesome! Congratulations!

Check your facts. Applicants were not down. And compare ratio of number of applicants to number of acceptances. Mizzou is a very competitive school. SLU(local) has an outstanding program also, but Mizzou is much more competitive(SLU has an automatic admittance program, no application needed).
With that said, there are not that many involved in greek life that actually get in, however many do apply. And in nearing the completion of the program I'm pretty sure four girls from one sorority did not get in. Regardless, don't knock the program unless your only data you are comparing it to is age old rankings of nursing schools.
