res halls?

My older cousin went to Mizzou, and she graduated a few years back. She lived in Jones her freshman year and said it was the best experience. I am trying to figure out a dorm for next year. Jones is gone. Lathrop and Laws (her second suggestion) are being remodeled I think. So any suggestions? I plan on rushing so I would like to be near the Greek community.

They are knocking down all those dorms- there is a new one being built , there is the north center and south complex and Brooks. I live in Brooks and I really like it. It doesn't have the community feel since all the new dorms have doors that must be kept closed . That kinda sucks but location is ok.i have a single - but it is love hate for me. I love my privacy, but also it is hard to make friends when you are behind a door all the time. I honesty didn't make a lot of effort though tbh. Most of my he friends had trouble w their roommates and had to switch first semester. I am relieved I didn't have to deal w that. Just some food for thought.
