IF you choose a sorority that is different from your hometown-and almost always this means the girls that got a 'higher' bid..you can expect to be 'shunned' by your hometown-especially if your hometown gravitates to one sorority. There are cities across MO, IL and MI that have a lot of girls come to Mizzou. Kudos to those girls that follow their own heart to their house in college...Sad to say there are certain 'home towns' that will shun these girls! Shame on those girls that don't know what college life-and branching out on your own-is all about!
