Yeah most houses will drop you at a 3.3. Tri sig, phi mu and SK probably wont cut you just because theyre lower houses and have a bad retention rate.

I think it depends on the rec and the toughness of the school. A high ranking private school girl with a 3.25 in super touch subjects like Calculus and a ton of rec's from high ranking alumni will do much better since they can see the extracurriculars and leadership. PLUS high scores on the ACT and SAT

I finished Calc BC as a junior and got 5's on my AB and BC Calc AP tests. I took AP stats my senior year because I had run out of other math classes to take and, yup, 5'ed it. Did I mention I went to a public high school? Did I mention I entered Mizzou with sophomore standing. Only a private school bi tch would consider calculus a "super tough subject." At my school, BC was a standard course offering. So, yeah, tell me about how much better private schools are.

Can't think of a junior in high school who wasn't taking her first year of calc. Can't think of a public school grad in my district who didn't have two years of calc. A "super tough" subject? Noooo...... Pretty much standard public school curriculum.

3.1.... alpha phi will for sure take you! they value other things above academics such as friendship and if you'd be a good sister!
