they kept recruiting the girls they knew from their home town. It worked when there were a ton of smart, st Louis girls that were beautiful and chose mizzou. but then there were a ton of out of state, beautiful girls that chose mizzou-but tri delt stuck with their hometown girls, disregarding grades. after many years ,it did them in. Too many amazing girls coming from out of state, lured by $$$$ for grades and accolades with scholarship money-had many other opportunities in choosing houses...there are no longer st Louis houses that recruit based on hometown girls, except for an out of state group that tried to build a 'pretty girl' house(thinking they could establish the base tri delt with st Louis girls). Not possible these days-girls are coming in beyond what other schools require, so our recruits have THEIR choice. Yes, you will still get the group from the Chicago and Minnesota area that go with their high schools friends, but most girls, many st Louis, know to break out of their 'mold' from high school. But anyways, go ahead and tear this post apart now..
